Von Coin

The Pitch

Von Coin’s mission is to reward hardcore gamers for their achievements on Xbox. The Von Coin CEO approached Redvike with a vision to create a comprehensive platform that could handle auctions between gamers, in collaboration with gaming industry partners. Based in Ireland, but with its sights set on the USA (then Canada and the UK) – Von Coin displayed an ambition that Redvike was confident it could match.

Ireland-based entertainments company launching a gaming auction platform in the USA.
Users earn digital Von Coins through Xbox achievements, which they redeem for rewards.
Required an auction platform – supported by a fully-functional CRM for auction management – as well as the creation of a new digital currency.

The Process

Given the project was Xbox-specific, we created a ReactJS web app designed and implemented for Xbox only. The process meant researching the full catalogue of Microsoft guidelines and technical libraries to create a bespoke end-user experience.

An Admin panel allows the Von Coin team to manage the auction process – covering creation, sequencing, timing, T&Cs, available products, regions and time zones. While the Von Coins themselves have become a powerful user acquisition tool thanks to industry-wide partnerships.

Designed and implemented an Xbox-specific ReactJS web app.
Researched Microsoft guidelines and custom libraries to enable the build.
Developed a bespoke Admin panel to handle auction management.
Created a digital currency as a unique rewards mechanism, using timed releases and industry partnerships to determine the correct supply of coins to reward in-game achievements.

The Pitch

CallPage are one of the top-rated startups in Poland with clients ranging from young, high-growth businesses to globally established enterprise: Audi, Orange, and PWC are among their biggest fans. As the company faced new challenges owing to their exponential growth, Redvike stepped in to help refine the proposition.

The original widget version was using outdated technologies (JQuery, ModuleJS, Gulp, ES5).
This setup was hampering growth: newly-hired developers were struggling to get to grips with the stack, while the product release cycle was not as efficient as it could be.
With an updated widget, CallPage could lay the foundations for the next phase of growth.

The Process

Redvike rebuilt the project from the ground up leveraging bleeding-edge technologies – Vue.js, ES6, Webpack – to redevelop the widget. Clean code, supported by a robust systems architecture, guaranteed a scalable solution that will remain relevant for years to come.

Time was taken to layout the project specification in full ensuring the design and architecture of the software reflected the long-term ambitions of the client.
Redvike focused on streamlining the solution, simplifying new feature development, while simultaneously reducing the overall bundle size by 20%.
Documented technology and a robust testing strategy preserve the integrity of the solution, handing full control to the client’s development team.

The Pitch

Agendium is based in Finland but harbored ambitions to scale throughout Europe. As data protection specialists, the arrival of GDPR presented a compelling opportunity for growth. However, its existing technology was a significant hurdle standing in the way of their strategy. So, Redvike stepped in to help redesign the software from the ground up.

Agendium’s existing product struggled with slow page load speeds, which frustrated users.
Pages were built on separate platforms, resulting in a confusing UX and clunky architecture; while redundant API calls further affected site performance.
Agendium wanted to scale into Europe alongside building out their feature set, but the existing architecture would not allow this.

The Process

Redvike had to work closely with the client, so we integrated Agendium’s team directly into our workflow; including daily stand-ups and planning sessions. This expedited the development process and allowed both teams to hit tight deadlines. We chose Vue.js as the underlying technology to reduce the application size, resulting in scalable architecture which Agendium could quickly build-out.

We rebuilt the platform using Vue.js, decreasing its size and improving page load speed.
The new architecture was a simple-to-scale enterprise system onto which new features could easily be added.
We rationalized the components bringing all elements under one roof, making ongoing maintenance easier.

The Pitch

Norway’s dentistry industry is heavily regulated to protect patient privacy. Yet, it’s also a connected community of professionals who like to share insights and discuss complex cases. ViDent’s co-founders were central to the existing communication flow, managing a private Facebook group where dentists connected with peers to address patient and industry topics.
Such was the demand for this dentist-specific forum that ViDent quickly outgrew what Facebook could offer. And the co-founders promptly realized they would require a bespoke platform that could both satisfy the needs of dentists alongside adhering to Norwegian regulations.
Moreover, the new platform would have to help dentists keep up-to-date with obligatory training requirements, and so offer courses, certification and a calendar of events – all in one central hub.

ViDent needed to create a hyper-specific forum through which dentists could discuss industry topics and patient cases
Norwegian regulation forbids revealing any personal information in a public space, requiring due consideration within forum management
The platform needed to extend beyond just communication, offering a hub for training and events listing as well

The Process

Redvike collaborated with ViDent to establish the concept of a ‘Stack Overflow for dentists:’ a niche forum to give participants a private space to discuss hyper-specific subjects relating to dentistry – spanning everything from particular teeth to certain surgical procedures, to complex patient cases.
For the platform to be effective, users would have to be able to search for relevant subjects, post questions, read threads, and upvote the best answers. Moreover, it would need a forum manager to vet new participants before they could respond to threads or up-vote responses – ensuring the platform remained on-subject and spam-free. The same manager would also take responsibility for moderation, removing any patient information or material that breached Norwegian regulation.
Alongside having the forum capability, the product would also need to host the second type of user: training providers. So, it would require a module to allow course operators to list training services. Then redirect dentists to the appropriate website should they show interest in a particular certification.

Redvike built a niche platform to act as a forum, events calendar and private messenger service for dentists
We used React.js for the front end, creating a hyper-responsive mobile web app so that dentists can access the forum on any device
We used node for the back end, with WebSocket enabling real-time notifications alerting users to private messages, comments on threads or upvoted answers
Dentists can now use the forum to ask questions, read about specific topics, or reach out to other dentists via a private message by clicking on avatars in forum threads
Dentists can also find relevant training providers who offer industry-specific certifications; while training providers can list their services

The Pitch

Sana works with eLearning providers to build sophisticated APIs that power platform functionality. One of their core products helps users improve pronunciation when learning a new language, but Sana lacked any visual tool that demonstrated this product.
Redvike stepped in to build a showcase, leveraging integration with one of Sana’s key partners to highlight the power of the solution.

Sana had an API that analysed speech patterns to provide language learners with feedback on word pronunciation
Sana had no way to showcase how the product works or the level of feedback it offers
They asked Redvike to build a demo, using an integration with Spanish eLearning platform Hey Patch to surface the APIs feature set

The Process

Redvike created an interactive web app using React.js to sit directly on Hey Patch’s website. The app includes seven phrases for a user to read out loud, which Sana’s API uses to analyze the learner’s speech pattern. The app then gives real-time feedback to the learner based on their pronunciation – sharing a score on-screen for each of the seven phrases alongside in-depth analytics sent via email.

Redvike built a responsive React.js web app using Sana’s eLearning API, which Hey Patch integrated directly onto their website as a showcase of their offering
Sana’s API used a 7-phrase flow to analyze the learners’ pronunciation – with the app surfacing real-time feedback on-screen
We also developed a new analytics feature delivering in-depth feedback on phoneme pronunciation via email

The Pitch

There’s a swathe of business owners who don’t have the expertise to create digital ads. So, TraxOne wanted to simplify the process to allow anyone to build an interactive promo in seconds. The idea was to offer a solution where users could add a few bits of information, hit generate, then see the advert in their ad management software; ready to serve via the App Nexus network – Conveyer is that solution.

Ad management platform TRAXOne wanted to make it easier for users to create beautiful ads in seconds
Users should be able to go to a website, choose their preferred ad type, add a few details, then publish the ad immediately
It’s ad-creation software for anyone who lacks the skill-set to mock-up an interactive advert

The Process

Redvike connected with Irish-based Conveyer to build Traxone’s ad-generation solution. We focused on the simplicity of the user experience to ensure anyone could create a fully responsive, interactive advert in just a few clicks.
The Conveyer app offers three distinct ad types: sell a product, book an appointment, or capture personal information. The service also includes a basic CRM panel to allow managers to track performance and analytics. Plus, it integrates directly with TraxOne, acting as a native feature in the broader ad-management software.

Redvike built a micro-react web app to allow users to generate responsive, interactive ads in just a few clicks
Users can customize the advert header, main image, body copy, CTA, and button color
There are three ad types: direct links to product pages, multi-page ads enabling booking requests within the creative, and data input ads to collect emails or phone numbers
The app integrates directly with TraxOne, letting users serve ads via the App Nexus network almost immediately

The Pitch

LeadR leverage several services to run cold email outreach campaigns, while they also collect their prospecting data from multiple sources. Given the numerous customer databases, the company uses to store information, alongside stringent EU regulation requiring a declaration to each customer in the footer of an email of where the company sourced the personal information – and you have a headache.

LeadR was running upwards of one-hundred campaigns per day directed at multiple different customer groups, which presented its own difficulties within the above context. But with the additional overhead of custom footers required per customer group; the complexity grew exponentially, as did time needed to set up a campaign.

Redvike’s task was to find a solution…

LeadR has upwards of 100 databases storing client information, which itself has come from disparate online sources.
They also use multiple email services to contact different customer groups when running email outreach campaigns.
With EU regulation requiring LeadR to confirm where it obtained personal information in the footer of any email sent, the complexity of delivering email campaigns became almost too great as no campaign could run off a single template.
At their current campaign volumes, the company was running out of ideas as to how to manage the process efficiently.

The Process

Redvike stepped in to rationalize the end-to-end process, streamlining data collection, processing, storage and, ultimately, use of personal information. Redvike developed an API allowing LeadR to send a single email template to the service – without a footer – detailing the target database to which the email should be sent. The subsequent footer is then added to the main template depending on the specified database – with campaigns generated automatically courtesy of the API.

Redvike created an API to streamline the entire campaign management process – from data collection through to sending emails.
The process of adding custom footers is now automated depending on the customer database specified per campaign.

The Pitch

ChiTown Trainer offers on-demand fitness instruction in Chicago. Twenty trainers work throughout the city running both 1-to-1 and group fitness sessions in various luxury residential buildings. With ambitions to scale the service across five new cities, the company’s CEO sought a bespoke solution to support business growth and enhance productivity.

ChiTown Trainer wanted a comprehensive Business Management System to handle the company-wide process, helping the organisation become more productive on the whole.
The client was using Mindbody: a dated, and overly-complex enterprise SaaS solution focused on brick-and-mortar businesses.
No other solution existed to support location-independent operations, or to handle both private and group sessions, making custom development the only option.
The app also had to include scope for brand differentiation in the competitive personal training vertical.

The Process

The new app offers both mobile and web access with separate client/trainer/manager/owner interfaces. Each includes a user-specific dashboard with role-related information allowing the entire business to operate from within a single, custom platform.

We built a comprehensive, user-centric app that surfaces personal details, schedules, calendars, and tasks – with in-app notifications, plus an online shop.
We also covered business operations requirements with features supporting staff management, payroll, payment and invoice processing, and task management.
A ‘re-skinnable’ companion app supports interactive trainer-client communication, creating a ‘sticky’ brand and in-residence experience.
